Mission
The Peace Fountain Foundation is an anchor of
and a source
of peace in our community.
Vision
Working with compassion, love and creativity, we begin by being the peace we hope to create in the world.
From that place of peace, we create opportunities for others to experience and embody their own sense of peace. Working with youth and adults, we explore the meaning of peace within, discover what that feels like and discuss how to interact and react from that place of serenity. We also work with youth and adults through workshops and presentations in schools on developing tools for conflict resolution.
Working with
children is an essential element of creating a more peaceful world. Our
goal is to create a Peace School. The school will be a Montessori
environment where the essence of the child is honored, the spirit is
nurtured, the mind is encouraged to open and explore and where peace is
a daily part of the curriculum.
We share the message of
peace within, peace without through speaking engagements at
conferences, schools and places of worship as well as through articles,
books, classroom materials and curriculum development.
Wish List
We are in the process of building our foundation, and as with any new non-profit, we are faced with many start up costs. It’s our hope that some costs and / or items can be donated.
